Foreshadowing:

effects hidden in the writing which provide information of the up coming events, hints.

The lines leading up to the last two are a man talking of someone admiring his girlfriend. While reading you automatically know by the tone of the stanza that the man is going to become enraged. Tone is the effect in this songs that provides the hint of the future outcome. This device, foreshadowing, is constantly used in all forms of writing to keep readers or listeners interested.

She's mine, yeah
Now I don't mind you guys checkin' her out
You can whistle like a wolf
Or you can mess around
But let me tell you the secret
Of the sweet life
If you wanna stay healthy, man
Take my advice
You better kit the road, Jack
And don't come back!

(Def Leppard, Lyrics Book)
